The X-files on Agent Vinod

Saif Ali Khan's ambitious next project Agent Vinod, directed by Sriram Raghawan and starring his girlfriend Kareena Kapoor, is officially in production hell.

We reported earlier that the film crew got stranded in Morocco for two more days after the schedule got over because the production team had forgotten to book the return tickets. But it seems that this isn't the only time the production team has goofed up.

A unitwallah reveals, "During the Morrocco schedule 60 per cent of the film stock that was taken from India got fogged (spoilt) because it was put through the X-ray machine at the Dubai airport. The production team wasn't aware that the raw stock gets exposed if it's passed through the machine." Our source informs that Saif's co-producer Dinesh Vijan came to the rescue and made SOS calls to his friend in India to arrange additional stock from London. But the production team goofed up again.

"Half of the raw stock that was called from the London got fogged in the same way since it was also put through the X-ray machine at the airport. The production team forgot to warn the person who was getting it from London not to repeat the same mistake.

Such incidents can be avoided if the stocks are sent by the courier services," adds the source. Besides the loss of stock costing a couple of lakhs, the delay in the shoot compounded their problems.

Co-producer Dinesh Vijan said, "I am not in India; will call you back." Sriram Raghawan didn't revert to our repeated texts
